The Order chronicle recounts Marshal Odile Hartmann firing to protect the hospital ship Lamp of Tomar and its refugees.

- 2822: the Order needs, overnight, a public address, lawyers and a seal. Grafts may step out or stay where they serve; most stay ('No one is pushed through it').
- 2823: the Chronicle deposited at the Ark; Dr Ilaria Benedetti identifies its first hand as Petrus, a Bologna notary from 1311: the Roll now reads 'P., who wrote it down'. 2824: Compact of Memory with Xi'an archivists.

- 2829–2831: first hulls bought second-hand. 14 June 2831, First Fire at Armitage: Marshal Odile Hartmann, frigate Gerhard von Grumbach, fires after eleven seconds to save the hospital ship Lamp of Tomar (1,400 refugees); first Templar shot in the open since Ruad, 1302. 2831–33: the Argument of the Lamp: the lamp is lit on every ship, cover beside it, covered only for the dead.
