The chronicle’s account of the Order after the Proclamation, from 2822 through spring 2956.

2822: the Order needs, overnight, a public address, lawyers and a seal. Grafts may step out or stay where they serve; most stay ('No one is pushed through it').

2823: the Chronicle deposited at the Ark; Dr Ilaria Benedetti identifies its first hand as Petrus, a Bologna notary from 1311: the Roll now reads 'P., who wrote it down'. 2824: Compact of Memory with Xi'an archivists.

13 October 2828: Temple Charter Act, 61–19.

2829–2831: first hulls bought second-hand. 14 June 2831, First Fire at Armitage: Marshal Odile Hartmann, frigate Gerhard von Grumbach, fires after eleven seconds to save the hospital ship Lamp of Tomar (1,400 refugees); first Templar shot in the open since Ruad, 1302. 2831–33: the Argument of the Lamp: the lamp is lit on every ship, cover beside it, covered only for the dead.

2830 on: Living Codex recorded with Tevarin elders at Branaugh II. 2850: the Javelin Gualdim Pais. 2871: Caliban, 'We go in' (Marshal Mireille Castelnau; ~3,000 civilians carried, eleven Templars dead; the Navy's one-word reply 'Noted.').

2932: Teodor Halvorsen, first Grand Master to retire (Farewell of Hands); the 28th Grand Master swears. 2938: six Carracks for the Road Fleet. 2941: Historical Truth Act; the 28th lays Halvorsen's full signed ledger of the Revolutionary Road before the Senate.

Vanduul war (attack on Vega II, 5–6 October 2945; war declared 11 November 2945): Bread Fleet on both sides of the front, Road Fleet shadows refugee convoys, Shield Fleet fights raiders that threaten them; Polaris corvettes from 2946 lead convoys.

February 2951: a Templar battle group under the Gualdim Pais fights beside the CDF and Navy at Crusader against XenoThreat; 9 Templar dead; 412 wounded treated, 61 of them XenoThreat.

c. 2954: Bread Fleet hospital ship anchored near Terminus in Pyro: the Harbour of the Flare. Autumn 2955: Calista Mavrou leaves her obol on the Empty Chair. 2955: Neve Almaric finds Senator Kieren's hand at Levski: 'K., who has been found.'

24 May 2956: the Anvil Odin unveiled; the Order buys one: KTS Jacques de Molay, flagship. Spring 2956: a Tevarin sergeant asks to place one hand on the Stone. The chronicle's present ends here.
